Here are your monthly tips for December:
1. Now that we have had some surface frost, snow is not far behind….when we do get snow, be sure to gently remove the snow from the branches of your evergreens to prevent breakage to the limbs.
2. Try to minimize traffic on your lawn during the Winter months to reduce damage to your lawn.
3. Clean & sharpen your garden tools and be sure to store them in a dry storage area to prevent rust and decay.
This is also a good time to bring in your hoses and ceramic pots to insure they do not freeze and get damaged during the Winter.
